Dr. Corinne Wickett, Ph.D., BCBA-D

In 1999, Dr. Corinne Wickett started her work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis while getting her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo when she worked as a behavior therapist for a family with a child with autism, receiving guidance and supervision from a consultant at the Lovaas Insitutue for Early Intervention.

In 2001, she moved to Los Angeles to begin her education at California State University, Los Angeles to receive her Master’s Degree in Counseling, emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at which time she worked for the Lovaas Institute for Early intervention as a Lead Behavior Therapist.

In 2002, Dr. Corinne Wickett joined the team at the California Institute of Behavior Analysis (CIBA) as a Behavior Supervisor, and later the Director of Training and Development.

In 2004, Dr. Corinne Wickett graduated with a M.S. in Counseling, emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis.

In 2005, she was awarded her BCBA.

In 2006, Dr. Wickett joined the ABA team at Behavioral Education for Children with Autism as the Clinical Director.

In 2008, Dr. Wickett rejoined the ABA team at the LeafWing Center (previously CIBA) as the Clinical Director and had the opportunity of opening and running a new site in Torrance, CA for LeafWing Center. Here, Dr. Wickett gained further experience in administrative and managerial skills with regards to hiring and directing the team, as well as additional clinical and administrative experience with insurance funding and working with children with various emotional diagnoses in the school system.

In 2013, Dr. Wickett was awarded her Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. During this time, she received education and guidance from respected professors and researchers in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.  Her dissertation was titled: Empirical Evaluation and Conceptual Analysis of a Behavior Analytic Parent Training Package, successfully defending under the guidance of Dr. Rachel Taylor, Dr. Amanda Adams, and Dr. Leslie Morrison.

Dr. Wickett was an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, teaching courses such as Observation and Measurement, Clinical and Educational Applications of Behavior Analysis, and ABA II: Concepts and Principles. In addition, Dr. Wickett has conducted video trainings for Cigna Health Insurance, specifically “Managing Challenging Behaviors with Children with Autism”, “Toilet Training for Children with Autism”, and “Community Outings for Children with Autism”.  Dr. Wickett is a mother to two children, a son and a daughter, and happily married.  She and her family live in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and enjoy spending free time playing games, being outdoors, camping, exercising, going to the beach, and enjoying life with each other.
